Situated
on 45 acres, Red Bank Stables has four individual paddocks and one limited use paddock (see
pictures below) that are used to assist in rotation of horses and
segregation of mares from the geldings. We are proud to offer 4 strands
of Electrobraid
fencing in addition to quick latch systems on our gates for the majority
of our paddocks. All paddocks are scheduled to have this fencing by mid-2004.
We
have paved access to the barn and we also offer a trailer parking area
for those boarders that like to keep their trailers close to their horses.
We have a round pen for training and lunging your horse. Additionally,
we have a 100’ by 150’ lighted riding arena (as seen above).
We normally dress our riding areas at least 3 times per week. We are boarded
by over 100 acres of woods with trails to ride on.
Our
barn has two tack rooms, an office and restroom for your convenience.
We have a refrigerator for your use in addition to a drink machine. We have recently installed hot water for bathing your horse. The
barn is masonry and was originally configured for 22 horses. However,
we have enlarged the majority of the stalls and are limiting our boarding
to 16 horses. This ensures that our pastures are easily maintained and
we can monitor your horse closer.
Have
family members that do not participate in your equestrian activities?
They are free to enjoy fishing in our 4 acre pond or join you on their
bicycle or hike the various trails. Make use of our picnic tables and
grill when you would like to enjoy the sunset over Pilot Mountain with
us.
